Hi. Samsung S4, with HI QUALITY FAST 64G Card (Sandisk). I store all my music (45G) on teh SD card as well as the playlists. My problem is that there are duplicate entries for almost EVERY song but there is only ONE copy of the song on the SD Card. This is the case regardless of the player that I use (resident player, N7Player, MediaMonkey, etc). I can clear data/cache and even uninstall and reinstall the app (tried using Media monkey) and it doesn't help. I had the same problem before with a different SDCard adn WinAMP.
I can't delete the entries.. they just come back
When I look at the M3U file, there's only one entry for each song.
I had this problem a ways back and changed players in an attempt to fix it. Obvioulsy that didn't work either. I recall reading somewhere that I needed to clear data and/or cache on some android or google app and that worked but I don't recall what it was. It seems to be something to do wtih the android system, perhaps not playing nice with Samsung. If you search, you can find other folks have the same problem with Notes as well so I don't think it's limited to the S4.
I think the problem arises when I sync somehow but when I first went to media monkey, i started with a clean slate (SDCARD, etc) and it was OK at first. Since then I've sync'd a few times and i believe that's what causes it somehow.
REALLY hoping someone has an answer
