I was trying to discover why my device is showing double or triplicate files in both the music player and the gallery. So I unmounted the sd card and rebooted the device. This resolved the files from the external sd card being referenced multiple times in those apps.
But then I went to look at the internal storage while connected via usb to my pc. Unlike the sd card problem where it just LOOKED like there were extra file copies, but weren't -- There are actual triplicates of EVERYTHING on the Internal storage!!! WTF?
