Help Duplicate texts recieved

Some of my friends say they are recieving duplicate texts from me. I am using Go Sms, can this be the culprit? Or is it just bad signal?
 
I don't know...
I have a problem where sending phone numbers to"dumb phones" appears blank.and if it's part of a message, the rest of the text show up, but not the number.
I've had to resolve to spelling out the digits so the contact info can be read!
I wonder if Go SMS is over zealously detecting some forms of data and sending out non standard text as a result.
Have you tried to see if the stock browser sends duplicates as well?
 
Yeah I probably should switch back to the default messenger for a while just to rule out the possibility. I'll check back later. I'd still like to hear if this has happened to anyone else.
 
I'm actually on the receiving end of the duplicate messages. I was receiving them on the stock messaging app even before rooting and I've noticed it only ever happens from a tmobile phone.
 
the fiance and i have this problem sometimes. my problem actually went away but hers happens every now and again. both of us use GOSMS. I believe it to be a signal problem
 
Yea I'm on the receiving end as well. It's only from certain people though and not everyone. I also have the problem of my phone saying the text DIDNT go through but it actually did. Thereby me sending another causes a duplicate text. Aggravating.
