does anyone know if the ally is compatible with the mygrid? it doesnt have the ally listed on the site but was just wondering if anyone has tried it.

I was in Best Buy a month ago when I saw these charging pads and started to look into these (was going to ask my 'rents for this for Christmas). It's not made under Duracell, but it's a different brand, but there is no battery/charge case specifically made for the LG Ally. But you CAN make your Ally work on these Charging Pads (I looked into Powermat). You just need an adapter for your phone. Powercube Universal Wireless Charging Receiver (PMR-PPC2) | Powermat Now this is for Powermat, not Duracell. But I find it completely pointless if we can't just set our Ally's on the mat and charge, hence why I don't have one.

Don't they have a universal adapter that lets you charge any micro-usb device?

Not like this cube thing, I mean like... it's a thing that plugs into the usb port and wraps around to a disc that sticks to the back. Something like that.

No, not that I know of. I'm just disappointed that the Ally is treated so poorly and not given these types of accessories.

I can look into what you were saying though, darkxsun..

EDIT: The closest thing I could find for the Ally would be the myGrid USB Charger. "... offers hours of portable power for hundreds of devices like MP3 players, e-readers, cell phones and other devices with mini-USB or micro-USB ports," and, "is also compatible with myGrid -- it recharges when placed on the charging surface."
So it seems that there isn't a specially made case for the Ally, but it CAN be charged on the myGrid by having an adapter that is places on the Grid which THEN sends the charge through your phone through a regular charging cord. In my opinion, this isn't even worth it for our phone. >.<

The first thing on the accessories page. The so-called "power clip". Based on the pictures I'm pretty sure this is just a micro-usb plug with a disc that sticks to the back. The "cell phone starter kit" lists about 40 phones under compatibility. I doubt they included 40 different phone backs, it's just a little disc that you stick on, I think.
