Help dust in earpiece

I had this problem with my last phone. I keep it in my pocket all the time, and every few days, dust/lint would build up in the earpiece, and i would just take a toothpick and clean it out. I just noticed some dust in my evo, but found it wasn't so easy to clean out, because the holes in the grill actually catch the dust, and kind of prevent it from coming out cleanly. I tried a can of compressed air, and that pushed the dust in even more. Is there a simple solution to this? (other than making my girlfriend pick the lint out of my pockets when she does laundry lol) I just have a feeling over time there will be a lot of dust going behind that grill and blocking the speaker.
