Dust under screen from poor service center job...a question

Hi,
Just got my phone back from the service center after a touch panel and side housing replacement; got back the new looking phone only to discover dust under the screen :( which seems much worse to me than the scratches it had previously.. i have been using the phone since august '11 and had no such issues until this replacement job..

i am gonna go there tomorrow for this to be fixed, so just wanted to make sure something i noticed right now,

are the white lights for the touch buttons below the screen supposed to be visible (in a very thin strip) when viewed obliquely from above through the screen area?

asking this so as to make sure they haven't also left out some sealing (if any) to prevent future dust buildup on the screen...

can the wildfire s owners here kindly help me out? thanks :)
 
El Presidente they changed the faceplate changed yet again..this time just a speck or two toward the side which isn't so bad.. thanks anyways...

however now i've got a new problem that the screen isn't properly sealed with the body all along the upper edge.. its just wide enough to slip a paper into the gap :( did not notice it until i left the place. i dunno how it managed to get past quality control.. didn't expect this from htc. will have to get my phone opened up yet again it seems.
 
I wouldn't expect that from HTC either, they're normally pretty spot on. It doesn't appear as though you were waiting long for the "repair" though?
 
The waiting involved was just for the part to be acquired which is around 2 days. The actual changing was made in an hour or so...
 
I think i'm gonna have a pretty hard time explaining that it does indeed have a gap as only a safety razor blade fits into it...but some silver stuff is visible inside upon careful observation when viewed under a light.
EDIT: found the default (scumbag) screen protector which had initially gone in the gap to make me take note of it..
