Help dvd or bluray

rebel

Newbie
Hi guy's
Is it possible to put a full length dvd or blu-ray film onto my arc, and if so, how would I go about doing it. I have no experience with this, so any help, tips, hints would be appreciated.

1. you need to "rip" the video from the source
2. probably can be done at the same time at #1, to convert the video into mp4, should also resize the video to Arc's screen resolution to save space.
3. copy using USB cable from PC to Arc.
4. use a media player on Arc to play the video.

I suggest you first try a small potion of the above process to test it out if the setting you had selected works on the Arc.

Many thanks for the reply

I haven't done it in a long time, and back when I did it was not for my current phone, so my info might be outdated as there could be a easier ways to do the same thing.

You will need some type of ripping software to rip directly from dvd/bluray, depending on the software, it might already have the ability to convert into mp4 and able to resize it, otherwise you will need a video conversion software to do the last step.

I don't use wmp for anything, so I wouldn't know if it can rip (I doubt it).
There are plenty of free rippers and converters available, you will need to download them and try it yourself. Some of them will be simple to use but some are more complicated as it allows for advance users.
I would go here to look for more info on video rippers and converters.
