Accessories DX Armband Review

SLKStang

Newbie
Just wanted to put my review in for one of the Droid X Armbands for sale on eBay. I picked up this one: eBay DX Armband for a little over $10.

There is no screen view and since the sides are stretchy, you can fit virtually anything in there. Personally, I listen to pandora or set a playlist and use my phone for tracking distance. This pretty much does the trick. Fits with no problems, holds very tight, no bouncing around at all. The pouch for the phone actually velcros onto the armband, so you can clean the band without ruining the pouch.

My wife and I both use it and it fits each of us with no problems.

Only downside I have found aside from not having a screen is a plastic piece that the strap loops through is a little large and sometimes digs in when I have it strapped down too tight.

Anyways, just FYI if anyone was looking for an armband.

Good catch on the link. Put the title in the wrong place.

The entire back of the pouch is a full sheet of velcro. It takes a decent amount of force just to pull the two apart. I still haven't washed the armband portion, so I'm not sure what will happen to that side of the velcro afterwards. But as of now, its very stable.

I'll post pictures tonight.

I've been using an Evo armband and it's worked really well. Fits the X like a glove only the side buttons are difficult to use but with a bluetooth headphone to control it I have no problems.

Edit: actually the one above me looks to be the same one only for the droid specifically so you could probably disregard this post. He didn't have those when I was looking but I wouldn't be surprised if they were the same case.

Those of you that may exercise (run, bike, etc) on roadways, please don't let yourself get 'zoned out' listening to the music. your hearing is one warning sign of potential life-threatening dangers(vehicles and muggers, etc.).

I ride a bicycle without listening to music(because I want to hear cars around me). I also run up on people walking and running while listening to music and I can tell you about 90% of them flinch when they FINALLY see me on my bike near them. They are so zoned out they don't realize their surroundings. By that time it is too late for them to take any precautionary movements.
Most people only are aware of what is DIRECTLY in front of them and completely ignore what is behind them for some odd reason.

Just please be careful!
