Root Dx stuck at M logo after theme update :(

So.. droid x rooted with 1 click root worked fine, clockworkmod installed and working fine... tried to install a theme and when it rebooted..... dreaded red m logo... wont boot past logo... can get into the pretty greet recovery screen but doing a factory restore etc does nothing but the red logo again... how can I get the DX back please help its my only phone and its a paperweight... kinda new to all this as you can tell.. sorry an thanks for any help.
 
Apparently you missed the part about having to be deodexed before installing a theme.

Did you make a backup in recovery BEFORE installing a theme? If so, just boot into recovery and restore your backup.

Otherwise, you'll need to sbf, check for updates (settings... about phone), grab the 605 update. Then you need to root again (see how important backups are?).

After this, if you still feel the need to theme it, there should be a deodexer link here somewhere OR you can flash a deodexed stock rom from the Team Black Hat app. OTOH, all custom roms are already deodexed and optimized for speed, but you need to have a theme designed for that rom. :D

I notice a lot of the good themes are gone awol since sinsei url died :(
