Root DX2 Motorola one click not working!

i just tried to root my DX2 with the motorola one click program for my pc. i ran the steps and everything but when it reboots i don't have superuser nor root access. im running 2.3.4 and my computer is running windows xp sp3. if anyone could help me i would be very grateful! thanks!

is it giving an error message? Have you tried an app that requires super user access? I have heard of it actually not installing the superuser app but it still being rooted.

Lets look at it like this:
Is the USB Connection on PC Mode?
Did you enable USB Debugging?

Just those two should do it.

I haven't looked into this, but did 2.3.4 break root? If so, this may be the reason...

Yes, the one click root works.
The same thing happened to me, I had forgotten to turn on debugging. It rooted fine afterwards.
