Alright fellow htc hero-ers,
i recently purchased the HTC HERO (Alltel version) which is the cdma version...but i am trying to root it and install android 2.3 os. But I am extremely new but i almost have it....although it WILL NOT CONNECT TO MY COMPUTER!! I have downloaded HTC Sync and when i plug in my phone, all it does is charge. I bought a new SD card awhile back and i am using that instead of the one he (guy i bought it from) had. Nothing in the pull-down window even shows up. And my computer doesn't even detect a device is plugged in. My HTC Sync is all greyed out and i can do absolutely nothing! Please i beg of you...i need some help!
