Help E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/log

Hello All,
First post..wish me luck..So I rooted My Inc 2 with Revoultionary S-Off and started with cyanogen mods..everything worked just fine, and in being curious downloaded and flashed aokp..i didnt like it too much on the inc 2 seemed like it lagged a lot so then off to>MIUI..I stared getting the force close on incoming calls issue with the dialer app and tried updating the MIUI version..that worked but i still had the dialer issue..then it got bad.. I downloaded and flashed the MikRunnyv1.01..

The phone did update and flash, and worked fine for a day or so then started to slow up incredibly almost stopping for a good 2 miutes or so repeatedly..i tried to dowload the advanced task killer app from google market, and the phone completely froze>battery pull>boot to rev>CWM>
E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/log <then i get this in the background of CWM, so i tried to flash a backup and the cache cannot be parted, (the cache cannot be parted, system error when trying to format, but the data can be wiped< this doesnt help much w/o the other 2 though).

In summary, i have done a lot of reading on this, i guess the kernal from mikrunny is older than the kernel from miui.. im not advanced on phones but i do know my way around a pc fairly well, i'm just not good with the lingo. I'm worndering if the PG32IMG has to match for the binary somehow? and if i could use an older image to get my phone running and then proceed to udate with image first then binary?? if this is completely wrong..please let me know..

sorry if i lost anybody along the way there..

yes absolutley>> i got carried away and forgot to finish, the phone goes into either an htc whitescrren loop or i get the error in CWM and cannot up from sim on the new p32img...just stops at the end of the update, i think this would be due to the cache not being able to be parted...

thanks for the comment..

What are you flashing in the PG32IMG? You need to remove that file from the sdcard root after you flash it.

Please proofread your answer before posting. I can't follow your posts.

sorry I was posting while I was at work..

I wasn't flashing the p32img.zip file i was updating thru the rev bootloader.
-when i boot into bootloader with the pg32img.zip on the sd card- the phone automatically goes into an HBOOT function and looks like this..

HBOOT

Pasring...[SD ZIP]
[1] TP
[2] RECOVERY
[3] BOOTLOADER
[4] SPLASH1
[5] BOOT
[6] UDERDATA
[7] TP
[8] SYSTEM
[9] RADIO_V2
Do you want to update?
<VOL UP> Yes
<VOL DOWN> No

when i try to update, in the mid right of my screen it says -updating, then -ok...after that the phone freezes..

if i choose no i get this>

Cancel update!
Press <POWER> to reboot.

Thanks

P32 imgs are reserved for installing radios, recoveries, hboots or stock images from hboot(white background), if you aren't trying to install any of those things delete the file off your SD card. Anything else is installed using a recovery (blue text/black background)

It also sounds like your partitions are messed up, if you are getting that error when going into clockwork.

I'd recommend trying to install a stock image through a RUU (rom update utility).
