Just wanted clarification that it doesn't cost to download photos or music attached in e-mails on the desire if connected to wi-fi!?

Thanks for the help

If your connected to your own WiFi, then no costs on the desire. It's worth baring in mind any bandwidth limits your isp may have given you on you internet connection.

It would not cost on your own Wifi. Data used through your wifi is nothing to do with your carrier.

However any wifi services such as the BT Openzone/Cloud stuff may differ.

I guess by this you mean the download limit orange provide on my broadband? That shouldn't be to much of an issue for one or 2 photos. What if i download pics from e-mails with my data plan, will that just use up additional MB as opposed to charging me!?

Yes thats exactly what i meant :). If you do it via your phone's data plan it should be fine as long as you don't exceed it. I use 3g watchdog to keep an eye on how much exactly ive used.
