Help e-mail bulk "read"

Is there a way to mark all unread e-mails as "read" without opening up each on?

not that I've found so far, but chiming in just to sub to this thread in case someone else has...

You can touch the little check mark on the right side of the title and then hit menu and mark as read. But this is really unpractical and is best done on a computer not phone.
