E Mail Inbox Question

Me and the wife have the same problem with our X10's. We both have BT Internet and Hotmail E Mail accounts on our phones. For some reason even after going on on a computer and clearing all E Mails from both accounts, the X10's still says that there are unread E Mails. There are no actual E Mails in either Inbox but the phones keep showing a number of unread ones. Any ideas how to clear this as it is becoming a pain!

mine is the same, i can read then delete emails but when i go on the computer there still there and still unread

I can confirm that my email has been doing this for about 2-3 days now.

I did notice on MSN Messenger that it also said I had 4 unread email, so I'm assuming it's something on Microsoft's side.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one though.

This is a problem with using hotmail on X10.
IMO it's a crap email system. I prefer GMail, much better and reliable

It actually has nothing to do with the X10. It's a POP email thing. My wife has the same issue with her LG Shine Plus. Her workaround is to turn off hotmail sync and only pull emails to her phone when she wants to read them...that way she gets new emails only. YOu can manipluate the settings to have email deleted on the phone stay on the server or not...so it works okay, but yeah GMAIL is better for mobile devices.

I know that, but I was referring to the X10 because that's what they are using it on
