E-mail Sync

So I have 2 google accounts synced with the e-mail app that came with the captivate (not Gmail app) and it is set to get mail every 30 min but it doesn't. I have e-mails that come at 4 pm and i don't receive them unless i open mail and tell it to sync. Am i missing something or is it a bug?

I have the same problem. Wont re-sync and wont notify for any incoming mail. I am know using the K-9 phone app. It works great. After I downloaded I changed the old mail setting to never sync. Plus with k-9 you can mass delete. Hopefully this will fix your problem.
