E-Mail troubles!

Hi,

My desire came through on an orange (UK) contract this morning. Everything set up fine, I can mak calls, send messages, get online etc.. But I can't add my "@live.co.uk" email address to the mail settings successfully.

My "@hotmail.com" acount now works fine and that wasnt a problem. But my main email is "@live.co.uk" but every time I try and add the account it says "Cannot connect to the mail server to veridy your account information. Your server is not reponding"

The POP server I am trying to use saus "live.co.uk" and I've also tried "pop3.live.co.uk"

Any ideas? really need to get this email account up and running! aha

I dont think it works unless you have a plus account (if your account was created recently), although may be wrong.

set yourself up a googlemail account and get that to pull all your emails through from your live and hotmail accounts.... works a treat.

From googlemail webpage:
Settings > accounts and import

Then add your accounts there.
