EA Game Support

Vanquished

Android Expert
I made a post in the NFS:Shift about helping EA by listing specific phones that have problems running it, but It seemed to be sort of universal with their games so I thought I'd start a new post. Once we have a decent amount of information I'll send it to them and post it on their forums and see if we get a better response and updates with their titles.

--If the game runs fine, has problems running, or does not run, please list the device you are using, whether or not the game works and if it doesn't, what problems you are encountering.
--A problem that seems to be universal with all EA Mobile games at the moment is being able to download them from their server, particularly with Fifa 10. If that is a problem you experience, please list it as well.

So does the MOTOROLA Droid X. Never heard of an HTC Droid X. How does it differ? ;)

Also, Tetris works just fine on the Droid X and the Droid 2.

Cool, added those two. How do the graphics look on those?
Pretty good, actually. Identical to their iPhone counterparts. Good, solid framerate and sounds wonderful.

Need for Speed Shift works on the Droid 2 as well, though I've only played the demo (on my wife's).

I originally had it as HTC but accidently changed it when I added the Nexus S...The names are confusing since every company seems to be using some spin off of the same name.

i'm pretty sure they have all this info (have you read the comments for the games) and just don't care

Let me say that Need for Speed: Shift runs fine on the Droid X, but it's impossible to read some of the text. That's a graphical glitch, but the game itself runs fine.

Runs perfect with rooted Captivate running Perception b.8

I don't know how the OP said it didn't run or had problems running on the Captivate... it has a 1ghz processor and the best gpu of any phone out there (55.4fps- NeoCore tested)

ea mobile need to give me a refund for need for speed shift but got no where trying to contact them so im glad ive got worms for free... sod ea mobile what a rip off

HTC Legend:

nfs Shift doesn't work at all (FC after the EA spash screen)

works fine: The Sims 3, Tetris

Worms worked for three days.

Then tonight I got an update. Now when I launch the game it says 'License Start' and then crashes.

Just like NFS, it works then they take it away. Their DRM is awful.

I reinstalled NFS and now it won't even download the extra content.

Instead of showing a percentage and x MB of 98 MB

it now shows NaN 0 MB of 0 MB and does nothing

It used to always download the data but then when I went to play it would crash back to the home screen.

What is EA doing?
