Help Ear speaker

When I make/take calls the speaker sounds blown. I don't understand why as I never have it full and have only had my phone since Sept 2010.
Is thus normal, is it a cheap speaker?
Would this be covered under warranty if I took my phone back to phones 4 u.

Had the same with mine, had to turn the volume waaay down to stop the rattling just so I could understand the caller ( but barely hear them).
It was fixed under warranty by T-Mob in about a week.
