If i bought my phone before jan 16th am i grandfathered in on the annual upgrade deal? Or do i have to wait 20 months to upgrade at upgrade price?

If I remember correctly, those who got a phone before the Jan. 16 change date still get to use their last upgrade one year into the contract if you are the primary line holder. I'm a little fuzzy on the details myself so you may want to find out from someone who knows a bit more. I do know I signed up last Jan. and got an email a few weeks back saying I was elegible for an upgrade.

Yes, as long as you upgraded BEFORE the 16th you will be able to use your annual upgrade one more time.
