Help Earphones

Other than the earphones that come with the S2 are there any other quality ones that offer good music control like start, stop, pause, track forward & back etc?

Thanks

Try the Bluetooth Headsets: I bought an entry-level one from Nokia: BT503: Great sound quality and controls on the device.

Are these headphones compatible with the S2 if not does anyone know of a good Bluetooth headset that's compatible with the Galaxy S2? I'd like one that can control the volume (Up & Down) and change tracks both up & down. I've got one that almost works except for you cannot use the headset to turn the volume up.

Many thanks

In my opinion, this is the biggest issue with the S2. Using it as a music player is painful. I have not found any apps that will allow you to perform the same music control that the iPhone offers natively.

I concur. The iPhone/iPod native music player offers a far greater degree of control with far more 3rd party earphones than I would suggest most other android phones offer. It's such a shame as I doubt it's beyond the realms of the likes of Samsung to produce a music player that's either equal or at least comparable to Apple's one. Even the the music players on the market fail to include the function 'Remember Last Position played' which is included on Apple's player.

I've just bought a pair of 'a-Jays One+' but sadly if you have a Samsung S2 it seems you have to leave your screen continually on to get the inline control to work as it should!!! Not if you have a HTC phone!!
