Root easier way to root 2.3.4?

Is there any easier way to do this?

I'm following the steps and i can't get past unrevoked telling me it failed to get root, is your firmware to new?

i've made progress on this, but now it doesn't recognize the PB31IMG.zip file

I have it on sdcard.

It says no image or wrong image. I reformatted the card to fat32 also.

Being able to use custom themes is a bigger pain than i thought it would be

when you put it on the sd card check through a file manager like astro, to see if it is .zip or .zip.zip. if it is ,change it to .zip and it should work. when you put a zip on the card's
root it usually adds a zip to the name.

you can also use the command "fastboot flash zip" to leave hboot and your sd card out of the equAtion. directions here:
