Help easwy beginner questions?

I have found a number of solutions if in other Android forums and a significant number of answers here . . . so I have tried. These I can't find.
The only thing in common with them is the Atrix.

email schedule - I want the phone to retrieve my email on a schedule - for example, every hour - I have found this in a post
"Go into the e-mail app. and set up a schedule update frequency."
Where do I find the "email app?" I went to START|EMAIL but I see no setup or menu.

mail received notification - when I do receive email, I seem to get no notification. No tones. No widgets with an email count. Nothing. Any way to set a notification?

Move apps page to page - not familiar with the lingo so these may not be 'pages.' On an iPhone I ca drag a widget from one page to the page beside it by D&D. Doesn't work here - I have to delete and install. Does the Atrix not have D&D?

Scheduled silent - does Atrix have, or does an app exist, the ability to silence my phone, for example every M>F 8A to 9A?

Answer to questions 1 & 2: select the messaging app from the app drawer. From there select> menu>managing settings>email. To create a widget for emails, find an empty spot on a home screen, press and hold, select messaging widget from the list.

Answer to question 3: If you are referring to moving apps from one home screen to the next. Long press on an app, then dragg it to the home screen you want. This works in the app drawer as well. Long press on an app, to be placed on a home screen.

Answer to question 4: I use "Timeriffic". You can set up different profiles to turn off sounds and notifications.

Answer to question 5: select menu>accounts.
