Root Easy root instructions please!

[SubjectGinger]

i'm new to rooting and such, and am tired of being stuck on lousy 1.5 cupcake android. -.-
my phone is 32A with rogers.
can anyone give me simple instructions on how to root this phone and run 2.1 or 2.2?

all help appreciated, thanks!
