EasyTether Pro App... Question??

Ok, i found this app in the market, and you have to pay for it. i wanted to know is it worth paying for this app? Does it work? if used will i over use my 3g usage? i have the simply everything plan on my evo.. help plz..:)

Yes it's worth it, I use pdanet (free edition, search for it and try it) and it's great. I'm unsure what is the limitation for the free version but i'm guessing secured sites or something? maybe someone can clarify it for me?

Anyways just make sure you don't go over 5gb using it.

Free version only allows access over HTTP and maybe POP3, IMAP ports if I remember correctly

Android-Wifi-Tether is free and way better (but you need root or revoked)

I rooted my phone and can now wireless tether to my laptop for free :)

There is no need to watch for the 5GB cap if you are using the phone to tether...the data from the phone is unlimited irregardless whether its 3G or 4G. Sprint has no way to tell you are tethering vs using the holy hell out of your phone for internet.

Where do i check to see how much usage im using?
You can goto the Sprint web site log into your account and check your usage. I'm pretty sure you can get the same info from Sprint on your phone. Not sure, won't have my Evo for another month.

Peace, Chuck

I thought we had unlimited data through the phone, but a 5gb cap when using it for other devices?
