Root EB01 and Superclean 2.4 w/ Voodoo Impressions

fwiw i never had the sod issues on eb01

It happened to me a time or two within 3 or 4 days after I put it on. I wondered what was causing it, but it hasn't happened for quite a while now. The last week and a half EB01 has really been running quite well for me, notwithstanding my monkeying around with the TV out mod that they're experimenting with over on XDA ... so far without much success. :(

Anyone else missing calls and just getting a voicemail right away even though phone never rings? I'm on Superclean 2.4 voodoo with superdark. I tried reflashing and its still happening quite a bit. I am using google voice but dont think that should mess anything up.

Yes, I've seen the same behavior. Based upon that and the 'time without signal' that shows up in the Battery Use/Cell Standby, it makes me wonder if there's something funky with the EB01 modem. That said, after switching the Airplane mode on, rebooting, and then shutting it off; the issue has been greatly reduced. I'm currently sitting at 2% time without signal after being unplugged for ~6 hours.

Quick question: Anybody have issues with restoring backups not working since being on EB01?

For the second time since I have been on EB01 (each variation of SC) my restore didn't work. I have been in a bootloop for 45 minutes. Once I get to an hour, I am battery pulling and reinstalling SC 2.6. Not a big deal. Reinstalling takes about 20 minutes to get back to where I was. Just curious if broken restores are common.

One thing I miss on the EB01 Froyo is the complete silence mode without needing airplane turned on. On 2.1 you could have vibration on or off simply by using the volume rocker. I miss the "one more click to complete silence" feature. Sometimes even a vibrate is not appropriate, but you still need to be able to get a message - work related. In my own office a vibration is not a big deal, but at the probation office or in court meetings a vibrating phone on the table will get you some nasty looks. I didn't expect them to take away useful features. In light of what 2.2.1 adds, it's hardly a critical sacrifice, but I did use that feature in certain meetings.
