Has anybody tried one of the 4000mAh extended batteries for the bionic on eBay?

Do they last anywhere as long as an OEM extended battery?

I want to get an extended battery but got my phone around Oct 15th and missed out on the sale verizon was running. Anyone know of a sale like that running now?

Thanks for the help fellas.

If they are indeed 4000 mAh then they should last a LOT longer than the OEM extended, but they would add a LOT more heft and bulk to the phone...

I find that the extended can last pretty much two days without any issues if I am doing light usage like normal, I cannot imagine needing more than that...

I can get over 4 hours of screen time in one day and still have 30% battery life...

Actually, Mugen is making a stock sized battery that is 2000 mAh. So, an extended battery the same size as our Extended battery could be made (theoretically) that is 4000 mAh and not be any larger. Heavier, perhaps, but I doubt it.

Caveat: More than a few people bought extended batteries for the DROID back in the day and were ripped off. Same thing for 32GB Micro SDCards....

If the price is anything less than $30 I'll bet even money it's a scam....

One final thing - there is a thread in these forums that the extended battery is not showing up online anymore but the stores still have them on sale.

Interesting, I figured it would add more girth and weight...

I'm debating if i want to be the guinea pig for this. Would be much better if I can get the real one at the verizon store.
