Root Ebay optimus V bricked?

Just picked up an optimus V off of ebay with a clean ESN and now all I am getting is an LG boot loop. Tried a bunch of combinations

Home, vol down, power
return, vol down, power while plugging in
menu and power
Home, vol up, power


None worked. Not sure where to go from here. Never had the issue with my captivate. If it is bricked, which solution should I go about unbricking it?

No idea. I assume it was rooted and now it's unable to boot. I tried unbricking it using the optimus S firmware and it didn't end up working. I've been searching the net for hours trying to find a way to get it out of this loop at least until phatninja wakes up and he might possibly have an answer to flashing it with the S firmware.


Add: Figured I should mention I was able to get it into emergency mode but nothing else. After attempting the update with s firmware it just reboots and goes back into the LG splash loop.

Add: I also attempted to KDZ Updater with Optimus One firmware and continue to get a 502 error. :\

Lol. Thanks, but I talked to the guy who sold it to me and he said he will exchange it. I give up on this thing. >.> i like my unbrickable captivate. Lol
