Help EC05 Stuck in Download

Augh. I've got a screen telling me:
MR4 EC05 system update

with the little stripey bar you get before the solid one that shows the download progress.

I was so excited, thinking I was finally getting Froyo.

But now...

It's had that screen for over an hour, striped bar and all, and no change. My husband is telling me to just wait for the next hour until Sprint's operating hours begin, and contact them via chat. I'm terrified to shut down the phone, because what if I brick it doing that, but at the same time, I'm so frustrated. T_T

Am I the only one who's experienced this?
 
My wife never got any notifications, I was just curious and clicked on Update Android software and noticed it was on downloading. Been like that for a while now....
 
...well that eventually timed out or something. i went back to it about an hour later, and it gave me the option to download again. same thing though. just sits there "downloading."
 
Same thing here. I thought it might have been because it started trying to download when I was at home on wi-fi and had to leave to get to work. Still stuck.

Same crap here! Tried calling advanced tech support, and the wait times are very long, NO SHIT! Looks like Sprint/Samsung have dropped the ball again.

Edit: Looks like its starting to actually download!
 
Mine has been stuck downloading for a while now and I'm losing hope for this froyo update we've all been waiting for. If one of you guys get through to the sprint tech support please me know what they say, I am at work and unable to call myself... I thinking of removing the battery to reset the OTA, I know the phone become brick cause its just downloading not installing... Idk agan let me know what sprint says.
 
Mine finally started downloading. It's like it was stuck in queue and was waiting in line. It's installing now.
 
What the hell... HOW, EXACTLY, did you guys get EC05 to start downloading? My phone is CRAP. I need to just download update.zip and wipe it all over again. I'm so sick of doing that though. I'm ready to give up on this stupid Android garbage. Last ditch effort, does anyone have a link to download?
