I have a Lenovo TAB A7-40 (3500FL) tablet. I bought the tablet to use it together with Eclipse and develop apps, but the problem is that Eclipse don't detect the tablet when I want to run the app. I have searched for a driver and other solutions, but I cant find any help! Can I find some help here? And yes, I have activated the USB mode for developer.

Preciate some help! Thanks! :)

We might need more information here.

What version of the OS are you running? What OS are you using to do the development on?

Thanks for your replay! It's Windows 7 and Android 4.2.2

Ok, on Windows you would need to have the drivers installed. If you can connect to it via USB mode then you probably have the correct drivers (though not garaunteed). Sense (I think) Android 4.1 the device needs to have a kind of ssh connection. Um, I can't remember how you pull it up, but if you look under things like CM10 (search for it on the web) then you should be able to find it.

If I find the time I'll try to hunt it down, but I have a lot on my plate right now.

Thanks for your reply! Hmmm, I'm not sure what to search for!? I'm not sure I have the right drivers. I can reach the content of the tablett on my PC, but there is no icon in the bottom right corner of the PC screen to click and to make a secure disconnection or what it's called. I remember that first time I connected the tablett to the PC I got a smal icon with a red cross in the bottom right corner. I have not found any driver for the tablett.

When I search for "CM10" I get a lot of info about CyanogenMod, but I guess that not what I'm going to install?!

Still looking for some help to solve this problem! Longing to start use Eclipse again together with my tablett and create apps! :)

The point about CM10 is the PSA about the increased security over ADB. It's on ADB that you are trying to connect. The fact you can transfer files tells me that you probably have the right drivers. Now we just need to make an ADB connection

Hi!

I'm just curious if you have any more suggestions or tips on a solution for me how to connect my Lenovo tablet?

I have tried to use the Google USB drivers, but that didn't work! I'm surprised that Google has a Android developer page about OEM drivers and a link for Lenovo to a page in chinese that don't seems to work!?

Still hoping for some help to solve this! :)

Try a live boot CD for something like Ubuntu. If you can make that work then it's a problem with Windows.

Maybe even use Wubi to install it to see how it works for you. I found it a better enviroment, myself.
