Google released an update for the YouTube app yesterday. The app is now version 2.2.14. The update breaks the app on EVERY SAMSUNG GALAXY PHONE, AND EVEN THE NEXUS S. If you have already updated, then you know what I'm talking about. If you have not, DON'T! The videos are extremely choppy, and the sound cuts out completely after a few seconds, if you can even get the video to play at all.

That is all.

Edit: new version is out. Go update.

Thanks for the heads up.
However, I was thinking maybe you could make the title more foreboding.
Along the lines of "WARNING: DO NOT UPDATE the YouTube app. It WILL break your phone -- Details inside.", or something like that. I don't know...
It's just that with the title you have now, it looks more like an asking for help rather than a warning.

You are absolutely correct, and I tried to edit it, but I can't edit the titles.

Edit: nevermind, I found out how to.

[SNIP!]

But I'm pretty sure Google is already aware of the issue and will release a fix soon.

The moral of the story is to always keep a nandroid backup or backup your apps.

Youtube is up and running... no more freezing after a couple of seconds... all i did is update adobe flash today and it worked like a charm...

It was the YouTube app that was malfunctioning, not the website. Adobe Flash would have nothing to do with it. However, YouTube recently released an updated version of their app which fixes the aforementioned problems. Update at will.
