EE/Orange

For some reason, my missus' Galaxy Note has been on EE for about 2 weeks now, but on my S2, I'm still on Orange/Orange-T-Mobile.

I thought this would be a general blanket thing, or is it device-specific?
Or is it perhaps because she is bog-standard unrooted, and I'm rooted+debranded?

Are any of you S2 Orangettes on EE yet?
If so, have you noticed any improvements?

It just takes time and I presume they must do it via IMEI number? Both my personal and work handsets are Orange, I got the SMS telling me I was no longer Orange on my personal handset yesterday and sure enough, when I rebooted my network was EE. I've not heard a peep on my work handset. Home handsets is rooted and ROM'd, work obviously not.

Likewise, one of my mates got the SMS a few weeks back on his work handset and nothing on his personal. Same as me, personal is rooted and ROM'd, his work handset isn't.

Neither of us have had any issues since the switch. :)

I know a guy who works with Orange 1st line who posts here, do you want him to take a look at this thread, see if he can offer any assistance?

I've just had a txt from T Mobile saying I am on the new EE network. My phone showed T Mobile as the operator, I rebooted as per the text message and it now shows up as EE.

It automatically someday just switched for me. "EE" from Orange.

3G speeds are a major improvement. Finally I get around 4mbps download and 1mbps upload speed. ping is reduced to around 100ms from 200~300ms
so definitely an improvement there
