Either Too Big or Too Small - Tablets, That Is

What to do when a 10" tab is too big, and a 7" tab is too small? I'm looking for a good 8" Android 2.2 tablet that isn't going to cost me more than around $350. It has to have OS 2.2, support flash 10.1, and be able to support bluetooth - internally or externally - I really don't care which. 512 DDR would be sweet, but I can live with 256 if the price is right. Any ideas?

There really isn't any "inbetweeners" except for some of the chinese imports. IMO, you are rolling the dice when buying those tablets. Support might be scarce and build quality might be questionable.

Dude, you're killing the dream! But I know you are right.

Alright, I'm still in the middle of deciding - do I go for what I really want, or do I go with a price I can live with, or do I wait and see what comes down the road. Waiting has never been my style, but I may just have to.

LoL. One thing that good is if you wait.. the prices of the tablets you want now won't go up. :D

My main issue with waiting is I'm just certain that these new tabs will be way out of my price range, and I'm not willing to pay the extra monthly fee for a "plan."

Yes, I want it all - but I can't seem to find everything I want at a price I can afford!

To each their own. I personally want a 15"-17" tablet. What is out there is too small to suit my needs.

A realistic full size screen, eSATA port and a couple of USB ports is all I really need.

I think it depends on what your use is, and how portable you want it to be. 7 to 8 " is MUCH nicer for portability. 10" is obviously more usable. 15 to 17 is laptop size... too big for a tab unless it is a specialized use tab IMHO.
