Root EJ06 for CWM?

I may be wrong, but I think you have to use Odin to change the modem. I don't remember ever seeing a CWM zip for that. I would have preferred a zip over Odin.
As a matter of fact, the last time I used Odin was when the new FA19 OTA came out and Kouma made a rooted image. I probably should have stayed with EJ06 based on all the complaints, but I have not had many problems with FA19 so I keep it. Lol.

Odin is no big deal. Once you get your PC set up the first time it is a breeze. Unless your USB cable goes bad or something like that.
But, I understand your preference for a CWM zip.

let me rephrase:
Odin IS a big deal in the power that it gives us but it is very easy to use.
I like to use Kouma's Odin Packer to create my own backups that can be flashed by Odin if needed.

Watch the video and read the instructions. Then while you are doing it watch the video again pausing it so you get everything right!!!!!:listen:

oops, sorry for trying to help. didn't know it would offend. I just pointed out the only way to get what dude wanted . I guess i will just keep me thoughts to myself and let you experts do all the answering....

Nah, its not like that. If I didn't like what you were saying, I wouldn't have said anything at all. (and trust me, there's been a couple of people here I wouldn't help or speak to.) I think its great you want to help out and be part of the forums and i 100% think you should continue to do so. I'm not an expert at anything, heck I'm not even good at anything. I'm an idiot, but i'm an old idiot, and I try to look out for the newbies so they don't become an idiot like me. Or worse, getting frustrated and giving up.
To me, just going by the four or five posts you made, you looked like a person who wanted to be helpful, but wasn't sure how to. I was just trying to point you in the right direction. Please don't put sarcasm or arrogance where none was intended, and I'm sorry if you or anyone got that out of what i said.

Bashing is still around in some forms but not as contageous as it was before.
When helping just answer the questions, dont put and feelings into it.
Its like a mad email or a pissed off text. You cant take it back and everyone is going to have a different opinion of what it means....
