ejecting from disk mode

I have the htc sensation. After I'm done loading music using double twist, I eject the device in the double twist window. I don't see it anywhere else in finder. When I unplug the USB, the phone restarts and I get an abnormal reset message. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

You could look in Windows whether the device is really unmounted.

You can try to disconnect the phone from within MS Windows instead by clicking on the "Safely Remove Hardware" button from bottom of screen, near the time. Or you can try to just change the connection type on the phone from "Disk Drive" to "Charge Only".
