I have rooted my phone and was wondering if anyone knew if there was a way to eliminate the slide unlock. When I hit power or home, I want it to come to my home screen. Thanks.

works, but then every button wakes the phone.......
(luckily had a backup without the slide lock saved !!)

Edit your sholes_keypad.kl file to fix that:

I edited mine so that the only button that wakes the phone is the power button.
