Root Elite as media device

I pulled my elite from my drawer and brought it back to life thanks to the people who contribute to this phone. I flashed harmonia ROM plus GP kernel and gingerIce( Honestly I forgot if I even did this right ) I uninstalled most of the apps since I will only be using this phone to play music. I installed juice defender ultimate and player pro legacy I have airplane mode on NFC turned off and brightness set to the lowest (it's still pretty darn bright) So far I haven't had problems on how I've set up the elite. I'd like to know if anyone uses the elite like this and if so what ROM and settings plus apps do you all use?

I'm using KK CM11 on mine. Put it in airplane mode and turn on WiFi. Install TuneIn, YouTube, VLC, etc.

Tip: I found a generic charging doc at the local dollar store $1. Connected to older music system via headphone jack. Cable: $1. For $2, the Elite makes a great low powered Media Player.
