Help Email account deleted

I woke up today to discover that my corporate account set up in the stock "email" app was deleted. I did not do anything, I promise! I can set it up again but it does seem worrisome that this can happen without my intervention. I don't think News Corp would be interested in me (I'm very boring). Does anyone have any insight as to how this can occur so that I can try to avoid it in the future?

Yesterday I had the same problem, I was totally confused except it was my gmail, out of nowhere it was no longer setup on my phone, I did nothing as well, even weirder since it's the main account on my phone and you have to factory reset to delete it, strange.

I setup my account again and it works fine, who knows lol
