I noticed today that I hadn't any emails come through on my phone for the last couple of days. When I went to refresh the account it came up "network error." When I went to check the settings the incoming server showed username, password, imap.gmail.com /ssl/993 but when it went to verify the account it came up as "Your incoming server does not support SSL. Please modify your incoming server's security type."
I am totally baffled. This is happening on all 3 accounts (2 gmail and 1 old btopenworld account.) I have deleted all 3 accounts, cleared cache, switched phone off and on, tried to manually add the email accounts to the mail app but it's saying the same thing. Can anyone offer any suggestions please. I've wasted nearly 2 hours trying to figure this out myself and not being that technologically minded I'm almost to point of throwing it through the window! lol
