Help Email Application & System Update

I have recently bought Samsung Galaxy S4 (Android version 4.2.2). I have switched to this phone after I abandoned my old Blackberry. I am very particular about receiving emails on time because it effects my business.

Issue 1: This is regarding my Enterprise emails (Business Email) which I have bought from Go Daddy. I am using the Email app, available as default, to Sync my 5 email accounts. I have fixed the Sync Schedule as 15 min. and Peak Schedule as 5 min. I am not receiving emails as soon as they come and I have to refresh every time to receive them. Also, I do not understand clearly the terms-

On Issue no.1; peak schedule is just like telling the email app when you really expect the e-mails. say for example, if you don't want to receive the e-mails during work hours, then your set your peak schedule during the hours you are not working. You can set the time most convenient for you to be able to view and reply to the e-mails. If you set the time say from 8 a.m to 5 p.m, then this is the time that the e-mails received will be delivered to your phone email app. In your case set this to always on.
In my understanding sync schedule is exactly what you do when you need to see new e-mails. Apps are made to sync automatically and this can also be set...I'll say sync setting is a refresh, you can schedule your e-mail apps when to sync with your e-mail account and when not to do so. For your case i think you should use a smaller time difference...say; sync after 2 minutes.

You can get a back-up application and run it on your device to store the accounts on your phone and any important docs or files before doing a software update. Software updates are important for you phone they are made to give you a better experience than the previous software and some enable you to get advanced file handling mechanisms.

I recommend backing up your system files first, then update your phones software and work on the sync and peak schedules. Hope this was helpful.

Dear AndroidProf,

Sir, Let me tell you that in ‘Peak Schedule’ setting there is no option 'always on'...at least not on Android version 4.2.2 device that I am using. Also there is no option of 'sync after 2 minutes' in Sync settings. The min. sync setting time is 5 mins.

Let me reiterate, that I want my emails delivered as soon as they arrive, irrespective of the time. Please guide me what exactly to be done step by step, as I am not a gizmo freak . My issue number 1 (on priority) is still unresolved.

I had also asked to suggest for the 'NAME' of most suitable app. which can be useful for my emails to function properly and also if you can advise me an app. for backing up system files.

Try k-9 mail
Push notifications work for gmail so maybe it will work for you. And you will receive emails as soon as they come in.

Also you can have multiple accounts in one app.

Push and Peak Scheduling.

As for a suggested email app, I have used K-9 and its good. I have also used Kaiten Mail and its better, but if I had to get a third party mail package for android that is actually keyed for business, I would get MailDroid. It is the most feature packed, robust package that I have seen. I do have to warn you that K-9 and Kaiten are free, but MailDroid is not and if I remember correctly, it is about $20, which is very expensive for an Android App. On the other hand, if you require business level service from the app, $20 is not too bad. Kaiten and MailDroid also have features that allow you to back up your mail settings to your external SD card. When you restore, you have to reenter passwords for each account, but that is for security purposes.

Just my opinion,
