The e-mails are probablly not on the phone itself. Normally you get a copy on the phone and the email is stored on a mail server. This isn't always the case, which you could forward them to an account that the laptop has access to.

I have my laptop setup with the same email

Also went to the web version of the email and its not there either

I'm talking about a hundred or more emails in the sent folder I need a better way than forwarding

Is there a way I could maybe hook my phone up to the computer and go to the directory and copy that directory I only need a backup

Hi

Emails stored by the default email app and gmail app are not normally accessible other than by those apps. There is no folder that can easily be copies/moved.

It sounds like you are using a pop3 email service. Can you migrate to an ima service and then sync your email across devices?

Maybe you could pull the emails to a gmail account from the web gmail client on a PC using the account "settings" then "accounts and import"
