Help Email client forgetting new Exchange password every few hours

I had to change my Exchange password yesterday. I then updated the password on all my mail clients and everything worked fine. Until this morning when I was woken up by my phone loudly complaining that the password didn't match. I reentered it and things again worked fine until about 30 minutes ago when it again popped up asking for the new password. How do I get this change to be permanent?

I have 3 other desktop clients that are connecting to this account fine after I changed the password though.

are you rooted?
uninstall the email app
re install the email app

if not rooted
remove updates, then re update it.

Thanks. I was going to try and remove any updates (not that I recall making any to the email client) but I've now gone nearly two days without it forgetting the password. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this is one of those things that just works itself out.

easy tricks are always the first to try, like, for example, my wifi card dosent work, first move it to another slot. then try more complicated solutions.
