Help Email deletion

Can anyone tell me if there is a quick way to delete multiple emails on the phone?
Using the stock email app. Set up/linked to a Yahoo email account.

The phone was running low on space and when we looked we found over 1000 emails in the trash.

Having to select them on an individual basis is a ball ache. So and advise would stop her indoors bending my ear.

Unfortunately, there is no way to perform a full removal of all emails in the trash in one go, I can only really advise maybe trying another application such as K9 as I believe this does provide this function. This application can be downloaded using the Play Store app.
