Help Email issue. Not syncing (maybe?)

Hey all... I access my gmail account on my phone and, when I'm home, via Thunderbird on my Mac. Last couple days I've noticed that when I delete an email on the phone, and later pull up email on my Mac, deleted emails are coming down to Thunderbird as unread, in my inbox.

What gives? Any ideas?
