Email Issues

HI All.

Apologies if this thread has been covered before, but I havent been able to find an answer.

Basically the problem is this - when I sent an email from my phone to a number of colleagues who work for the same police force as I do, the email is unreadable when they get it. It looks like an encoding or font problem. The computers are usually running Office 2000 on Windows 2000 (yes, dont even ask!)

Ideas anyone?

If the email is just text, I dont see why that would happen.

I'm going to piggy back on your thread. Doesn't make sense to start a new one since i'm having a email issue.

My problem is occasionally I will lose my emails in my inbox. They are there one minute, and then they are gone. I have it set that it doesn't erase from my server, so that's not the issue.They aren't in the trash or any other folder either. I check.

Not the biggest deal...just curious as to why and if anyone else has had this problem.

I have the same problem after flashing but mine disappear all the time also removes the email from the server and the phone is set not to

Who is your e-mail provider, truebluesteve? I had this problem with Virgin - new mail arriving on my HTC Desire would disappear from the phone while I was looking at its subject AND also from the server, so I would never have a chance to read it. The solution was found by googling the community of users: bug on the Virgin system, remedied by adding "recent:" in front of user name BOTH on the phone AND on the account of the desktop (or laptop). Works fine ever since. Good luck
