Help email not coming into inbox

my mail is set to receive every 5 minutes, but sometimes there is a 2 hour delay or so until it picks up new mail. any fix?

I wish mine came through every 2 hours....sometimes it never shows up until I reset or force refresh. I thought it was a task killer app interfering so I uninstalled but I am still having the problem. Its a POP account for my work email through yahoo bizmail.

same with me, they are all pop 3 accounts. sometimes they will come in within 1-2 minutes though where it took my old blackberry 18 minutes each time

Does anyone know how to empty the email Trash folder? I have been flagging each message and pressing delete. Should be a way to just say 'empty'...
