Help email not sending

I have a non-gmail email account set up on my droid. In the last 2 days, I have not been able to send any emails. No change to the account settings. Anyone have any ideas?

Well, "non gmail email" is rather general & I don't think you will get much help unless you are more specific. If you are referring to Yahoo mail then there have been ongoing unresolved problems withdrew it for the last several weeks.

The email account is not Yahoo. It is an account that is on a domain managed by Charter Business. It worked until two days ago.

you'll have to delete and reinstall it. try inappropriate settings if you can.

I deleted the email account and reinstalled it. Still not sending emails. Are you suggesting I delete the email application and reinstall it?

In the account settings > outgoing, try changing both drop downs to "Never" if auth is not needed. I did this to fix my RR account when it wouldn't send properly.

Ok, I got the problem fixed. It was the authorization for the outgoing server. Changed to "Never" and now my mail sends. Still don't know what changed to cause this to stop working, but I have a solution.

I recommend using K9 Mail. The app is easy to install, easy to set up accounts, allows you to push as many email accounts as you need (I push 5 on K9 and 4 on GMail) and is a well organized app.
