Help Email Notification problem

Hello All, I have a Samsung Captivate and I'm having a problem with email notifications. I have it set to Automatically Push email from our Exchange server and notify me with an audio clip when new mail arrives. As soon as the phone goes to sleep/standby, I stop getting notified when email arrives. If I wake and unlock the phone, the notifications start up again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have Task Killer installed, uninstall it and reboot.

I also have a email notification issue. I seem to get notifications when i have no new emails. Any thoughts?
