Help Email Notification Sound During Call

Since the update, I receive audible notifications for texts/emails during calls (emails during calls when I have Wi-Fi on). I remember a notification before, but was just a quick "bleep". Now it's the sound of the call waiting indicator?

Is there a way to disable this during calls? I am constantly getting text/e-mails and it really disrupts my conversations.
