Below are 2 issues, they may be separate, but i suspect they are linked.
I have a desire running 2.2.2
I have my phone connected up to my work exchange server using the default email client. I have it set to "manual" poll, with a "peak period" of 9-5 Monday-Friday with polling of on arrival.
The idea of this is that during the weekend, I don't want to know that I have a pile of work waiting for me on Monday, that kind of information is enough to destroy one's weekend. Invariably sometime over the weekend though, something triggers a random sync event, and I get an angry buzz from my pocket to tell me that I have 15 new emails waiting for me.
Second issue: while at work, when I have a new email waiting for me and I read it on a computer, 10 minutes later (I havn't timed it) my phone vibrates, seemingly to tell me that I no longer have any mail to read.
Has anyone else experienced either of these, or know how to sort them?
